1 lb | chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
Salt and pepper to taste
½ cup | panko breadcrumbs |
¼ cup | cornstarch |
1 | egg, beaten |
Skewers (wooden or metal)

¼ cup | mayonnaise |
2 tbsp | sweet chili sauce |
1 tbsp | sriracha sauce (adjust to your spice preference) |
1 tsp | honey |
1 tsp | rice vinegar |
Salt to taste |
Prepare the Chicken: |
In a bowl, toss the chicken cubes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside. |
Coat the Chicken: |
In a shallow dish, combine panko breadcrumbs and cornstarch. Dip each chicken cube first into the beaten egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly. |
Preheat the Air Fryer: |
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C for about 3-5 minutes. |
Air Fry the Chicken: |
Place the coated chicken cubes on the air fryer basket or tray, ensuring they are not overcrowded. |
Air fry at 200°C for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and crispy on the outside and cooked through. |
Make the Bang Bang Sauce: |
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and salt. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired. |
Serve: |
Once the chicken skewers are cooked, drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the top or toss the chicken cubes gently in the sauce for an even coat. |
Serve the chicken skewers with extra sauce on the side for dipping. |
