FRUIT LOAF
2 oz Margarine
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Milk
1 cup Raisins
3 cups Self raising flour, sieved
1 medium Egg, beaten

 

Place marg, sugar, milk and fruit into a pot. Bring to the boil and leave to cool for 15 - 20 minutes.
Add flour and egg then mix well.
Place in a greased tin.
Bake in a preheated oven, 180°C, for 1 hour, testing with needle when done.
