JAM ROLY POLY
6 oz Self raising flour
3 oz Suet
Water
Jam

 

Mix flour and suet with water to give a stiff paste. Knead lightly.
Roll out into a rectangle and spread with jam.
Dampen side edges, roll up as you would a swiss roll and pinch the edges well together.
Lift carefully onto a well greased baking sheet.
Cook in a preheated oven, 190°C, for 45 minutes until golden brown.
