SAUSAGE AND SPAGHETTI
1 tbsp | Vegetable oil |
8 | Sausages |
1 medium | Onion, finely chopped |
1 can | Chopped tomatoes |
2 tbsp | Tomato puree |
1 tbsp | Parsley, finely chopped |
Salt and pepper | |
10 oz | Spaghetti |
1 tbsp | Olive oil |
1 | Extra parsley to garnish |
Pre-cook sausages and slice into ½" bits. |
Heat the oil and cook the onion over a gentle heat until and soft. Add the tomatoes and bring to the boil. Stir in the tomato puree. Add the sausages, then stir in the parsley and season. |
Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water until just tender. |
Drain the pasta, divide between the plates and spoon over the sausage sauce. Sprinkle with parsley. |
