Easy Chicken Fried Rice
| 3 cups | cooked rice (1 day old) |
| 2 tbsp | oil |
| 2 cloves | garlic minced |
| ½ cup | white onion minced |
| ½ cup | spring onions |
| 2 tbsp | soy sauce |
| ¼ tsp | black pepper |
| 1 tsp | sesame oil |
| CHICKEN MARINADE | |
| 1 breast | chicken, sliced in cubes |
| 1 tbsp | soy sauce |
| 1 tsp | oyster sauce |
| 1 tsp | cornstarch |
| 1 tsp | oil |
| Pinch of ground black pepper | |
| *mix and marinade for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator |
| Add 1 tablespoon oil, fry the marinated chicken till golden brown. Set aside. |
| In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon oil. Saute onions till translucent. Add garlic and saute till fragrant. Add the rice. Mix and stir fry the rice. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the sauce, black pepper and sesame oil. Mix well to combine. Add the fried chicken. Mix to combine the chicken. Add spring onions and ready to serve. Enjoy! |
