MINCE AND POTATO LAYERS
2 medium | Carrots |
1 medium | Onion |
½ lb | Minced beef |
1 tbsp | Flour |
½ pint | Beef stock |
6 medium | Potatoes, par-boiled and sliced |
Fry carrots and onions until soft. |
Add the mince and brown it off. Add the flour and fry for a further 30 seconds. |
Add in the stock and simmer for 10 minutes. |
Get a large over proof dish and alternate the mince and potatoes in layers ending up with a layer of potato on top. |
Place in a pre-heated oven, at 18 0°C, for 1 hour or until golden brown on top. |
