CREAMY CHICKEN with TOMATO
4 medium | Chicken breast fillets, skinned |
4 oz | Cream cheese with herbs and garlic |
½ tsp | Paprika |
1 large | Onion, thinly sliced |
1 Jar | Ragu with basil and oregano |
2 tbsp | Dry or fresh parsley to garnish |
Salt and pepper |
Preheat the over to 200°C. |
Make 2 diagonal cuts on each chicken breast, fill each cut with cream cheese and sprinkle with paprika. |
Mix the onion and Ragu together and place in the base of an ovenproof dish. Place the chicken breasts on top, season and sprinkle over the chopped basil or parsley. |
Cover and cook for 50 - 55 minutes until the chicken is tender. |
Serve with a green vegetable or pasta of your choice. |
