One-Pan Fire Garlic Chicken Noodle Bowl
1 lb | chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces |
2 packs | ramen noodles (discard seasoning) |
1 tbsp | oil (avocado or vegetable) |
4 garlic | cloves, minced |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | chili garlic sauce (or sriracha) |
1 tbsp | honey |
1 tbsp | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | rice vinegar |
¼ cup | water |
1 tsp | cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry) |
3 | green onions, chopped |
Cook the Noodles: Boil ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. |
Sear the Chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt & pepper, and sear until golden and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside. |
Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, and water. Stir well. |
Thicken: Mix in cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky. |
Combine: Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the fiery garlic sauce. Add noodles and toss everything together. |
Serve: Top with chopped green onions and serve hot! |
