Hoisin Chicken with Noodles
450 g | chicken breast, thinly sliced |
1 tbsp | olive oil or sesame oil |
3 cups | cooked egg noodles |
¼ cup | hoisin sauce |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | honey |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | grated fresh ginger |
1 | red bell pepper, sliced |
1 cup | broccoli florets |
2 | green onions, sliced |
Sesame seeds for garnish |
Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken slices and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside. |
In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. |
In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir well to coat the vegetables. |
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the cooked noodles and stir until everything is combined and heated through. |
Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. |
